Intended purpose

The Neuro 2 Sound Processor - Premium Complete Set, when used with a compatible Neuro cochlear implant, is intended to restore hearing for people with sensorineural hearing loss in their daily living environment.

Functional description

The Neuro 2 Sound Processor acquires and digitally processes sound inputs from the environment based its’ fitting parameters. Acoustic energy is converted into electrical stimulation levels transferred with electrical energy from the battery module via the antenna transcutaneously to stimulate and power the cochlear implant. Included accessories are a rechargeable battery module charger station, tamper tool to lock/unlock battery modules, pin hook for hook changes and earplug retention kit.
