Biomend Extend Absorbable Collagen Membranes - Collagen dental regeneration membrane

Intended purpose

BioMend® Extend™ Absorbable Collagen Membrane products are absorbable, implantable materials indicated for use in: • Guided tissue regeneration procedures in periodontal defects to aid in wound healing post periodontal surgery, and • Dental surgery procedures as a material for placement in the area of an implant, bone defect or ridge construction to aid in wound healing post dental surgery.

Functional description

BioMend® Extend™ membranes are used in oral cavity and they are designed to be completely absorbable in approximately 18 weeks, eliminating the need for the second surgical procedure often required to remove a non-resorbable membrane.
