Intended purpose
HEMOPATCH is indicated as a haemostatic device and surgical sealant for procedures in which control of bleeding or leakage of other body fluids by conventional surgical techniques is either ineffective or impractical.
Functional description
HEMOPATCH is a sealing hemostat and consists of a soft, thin, pliable, flexible pad of collagen derived from the bovine dermis, coated with NHS-PEG (pentaerythritol polyethylene glycol ether tetra-succinimidyl glutarate).
