Intended purpose

Intended to be used for noninvasive treatment of venous disorders. Used together with a dedicated compression unit and promotes venous emptying and mimics muscular activity by applying a counterpressure on a patient's arms or legs. The inflatable garments exert compression upon the limb(s) forcing the oedema back into the circulatory system.
