Continuous passive motion joint exerciser

Intended purpose

The BTL-CPMotion is a continuous passive motion device intended for treatment of injuries, diseases and in postoperative treatment of joints. By providing passive movement BTL-CPMotion reduces postoperative pain, minimizes chances of inflammation, helps increase range of motion and has favourable effect on muscle strength. The BTL-CPMotion is used to prevent negative effects of joints immobilization via the improvement of joint metabolism, prevention of joint stiffness, promotion of the regeneration and healing of cartilage and damaged ligaments, improvement of hematoma/fluid resorption, improvement of lymph and blood circulation and thrombosis and embolism prophylaxis. Most common indications include conditions after total knee/hip replacement, arthrotomy and arthroscopy procedures, plastic reconstruction of cruciate ligaments, surgical treatment of fractures and pseudoarthrosis.
