Intended purpose

Protective cover or sheath placed over guide. The sheath allows the use of the SCOUT Guide for body surface and intraoperative procedures, while helping to prevent the transfer of microorganisms, body fluids, and particulate material to the patient and healthcare worker during reuse of the guide.The cover also provides a means for maintenance of a sterile field (sterile covers only).
