Intended purpose

The percutaneous cricothyrotomy set is intended for temporarily securing the airway in case of upper airway obstruction, in adults and children in emergency interventions, if all other attempts to ventilate have failed. It is a preassembled cricothyrotomy kit including cricothyrotomy tube, needle, flexible extension tubing with connectors, syringe, neck band, and scalpel.
