Intended purpose

pH-Fix test strips for human gastric fluid are semi-quantitative indicator test strips for checking the pH of gastric fluid. The evaluation is performed manually by visual comparison with the color scale. The results are used as an aid in the control of correct nasogastric feeding tube placement. The strips are for use by healthcare professionals. They are suitable for near-patient use outside of a laboratory.
