Intended purpose

Used for endoscopic imaging of the urethra and bladder for the purposes of diagnosis and treatment. Flexible Cysto-Urethroscopes with an integrated working channel allow for the use of flexible auxiliary instruments such as forceps, stone baskets, coagulation electrodes and laser fibers for lithotripsy or for the ablation of benign/malignant tissue. Urethra and the entirety of the bladder can be visualised/treated. It can be used percutaneously in the kidneys or suprapubically in the bladder via an operating sheath.
