Intended purpose

This device is intended to rescue a implant-abutment system, where the prosthetic component is damaged or stuck, without removing an osseointegrated implant. The device is to be used by a dentist only. It is a cylindrical rod with a spiralled cutting distal end, similar to a drill bit or a screw. This is a single-use device.
