Intended purpose

Dental Implants are implantable medical devices used in case of total or partial mandibular and/or maxillary edentulism and/or dental agenesis. They are in contact with bone and gums to replace missing natural teeth both from a functional and aesthetic point of view. They are used as a support for a fixed prosthesis or an anchoring of removable prosthesis.
