Intended purpose

This device is intended to insufflate the abdominal cavity and provides automatic suction and smoke evacuation for laparoscopic procedures. It can also be used to insufflate the colon to facilitate endoscopic observation, diagnosis and treatment. It assists in providing the operator with more room in which to carry out an intervention.
