Intended purpose

The Insufflator is intended for use in diagnostic and/or therapeutic endoscopic and laparoscopic procedures to distend the abdomen, rectum, colon, esophagus, stomach or thoracic cavity by filling it with gas and to evacuate surgical smoke.
