Drainage system, pleural

Intended purpose

A three chamber unit for the evacuation and collection of fluid and/or air from the mediastinal and pleural cavity in post-operative and trauma situations. Connected via the patient collection tube (contained on the CDUs) connected to the chest tube (thoracic catheter). Includes a function to regulate the vacuum applied to the drainage catheter, but not supplied with the vacuum. This device may or may not use a vacuum source. This device is intended for adult patients.
