Intended purpose
Dressing used in dry socket or post extraction following difficult or traumatic extraction and / or for the protection of wounds after curettage or periodontal surgery. May also be used as a neutral medium to drugs to keep them in place at the gingival, tooth or alveolar level. May also be used as a temporary filling material for inlay or onlay cavities or a gingival material for cervical cavities.
