Intended purpose

BDEVICES® Ag+ Silver Alginate Wound Dressing is intended for use under the supervision of a healthcare professional for the management of chronic wounds in adult patients, including diabetic foot ulcers, leg ulcers, pressure ulcers (partial and full thickness), and partial thickness (second-degree) burns. The device is indicated for moderate to heavily exuding wounds.

Functional description

Provides a moist wound environment by absorbing exudate and forming a cohesive gel. Supports autolytic debridement and acts as a barrier to external contaminants. Releases silver ions in the presence of wound fluid to help reduce bacterial colonization within the dressing.
