Intended purpose
The MicroMove Electrode is a combined electrode for a precise electrophysiological localisation of an anatomical target point during interventions in functional neurosurgery. The electrode has a movable micro tip that can be advanced in front of stimulation contact and is designed for single cell recording with a very high signal to noise ratio.
Functional description
The MicroMove electrode is an electrode equipped with a movable micro tip. The micro tip is used to record single cell potentials. The electrode is used with the MicroDrive positioning device.
