Intended purpose

An electrode handpiece that functions as the holder for a detachable electrode (monopolar or bipolar), which together become the conducting unit, providing an active electrical connection between the electrosurgical generator and the patient. The emitted energy is used to create lesions (cutting and/or cauterizing effect) at a desired site on the patient. This device is reusable.
