Intended purpose
Together with the disposable probe (supplied separately), the workstation makes it possible to view the lower gastrointestinal tract and to access it for diagnostic and treatment purposes. The "lower intestinal tract" includes (but not only) the following organs, tissues and subsystems: the colon, the ileocecal valve and the lower part of the small intestine.
