Intended purpose
An sterile electrosurgical handpiece that is used for; resection, coagulation, grasping and/or cutting of tissue and/or blood vessels in laparoscopic and general surgical procedures. It is a bipolar device typically constructed as a long insulated metal instrument whose distal end is equipped with grasping jaws and a cutting electrode which are operated by scissors-like ring handles and/or controls at the proximal end. This is a single-use device.
