Intended purpose

CapsoAccess is a device that enables healthcare professionals to retrieve the data captured by the capsule endoscope (CapsoCam) after the patient has completed the procedure. This data usually consists of images and sometimes videos of the gastrointestinal tract taken by the capsule camera as it travels through the digestive system. This device is to ensure proper preparation, orientation, and execution of the data download process for capsules. CapsoAccess requires a software CapsoView to view/access the data that is separately available (not incorporated into the device).
