Intended purpose

Single-use biopsy forceps to obtain specimens for histological/pathological diagnosis during flexible endoscopy. They are intended to be used exclusively through the accessory channels of flexible endoscopes which only go into body orifices. Some versions can be attached to a diathermy device to provide electrocaultery in addition to cutting action.
