Intended purpose

Intended for the reinforcement of abdominal wall soft tissue where a weakness exists, in procedures involving inguinal hernia repairs by open or laparoscopic approaches and incisional hernia repair by open approach.

Functional description

Parietex™ hydrophilic 3D mesh is made of a tri-dimensional non-absorbable multifilament polyester knitted textile with hexagonal pores. The mesh is available is different shapes and sizes. The flat sheet mesh in rectangular or elliptic shape. Elliptic mesh additionally presents a coloured yarn marker for mesh orientation. The Pre-cut and slit mesh has a slit for the passage of the cord
