Intended purpose

Intended for the reinforcement of abdominal wall soft tissue where a weakness exists, in procedures involving inguinal hernia repairs by open or laparoscopic approaches.

Functional description

Made of a 2D nonabsorbable multifilament polyester knitted textile. Available in standard version and rigid version and in different shapes and sizes. Flat sheet mesh is available in rectangular or elliptic shape. Folding Mesh provided with a nonabsorbable pre-placed yarn tied to the 2D mesh which allows folding before introduction in the trocar and implantation and is not implanted with the mesh. Folding mesh has a closing flap. Pre-cut and slit mesh has a slit for the passage of the cord.
