Intended purpose

Titanised mesh implants intended for the support, reinforcement and bridging of body's own tissue in reconstructive breast surgery.

Functional description

The mesh is comprised of a large-pored non-absorbable prosthetic knitted fabric made using a monofilament polypropylene thread with a titanium containing coating. The mesh structure serves as matrix for the ingrowing of stromal cells. The breast mesh implant can be used in various forms of reconstructive breast surgery (e.g. skin sparing mastectomy, nipple- areola-complex sparing subcutaneous mastectomy, etc.)
