Intended purpose

Titanised mesh implants intended for the support, reinforcement and bridging of body's own tissue in reconstructive breast surgery.

Functional description

The mesh is comprised of a large-pored non-absorbable prosthetic knitted fabric made using a monofilament polypropylene thread with a titanium containing coating. The breast mesh implant can be used in various forms of reconstructive breast surgery. The mesh is directly fixed onto the fascia of the musculus pectoralis major or directly onto the musculus pectoralis major. The front of the implant that faces the skin is hereby fully covered by mesh material.
