Intended purpose

INTRAMESH® T1 implants are intended for the repair and parietal reinforcement of ventral, umbilical and incisional hernias requiring reinforcement with non-absorbable support material.

Functional description

INTRAMESH® T1 implants are intended to be used for the repair and parietal reinforcement of ventral, umbilical and incisional hernias requiring reinforcement with non-absorbable support material. This is a double-sided mesh. One side is made of ePTFE to minimize visceral adhesions, and the other side is made of polypropylene, which faces the peritoneum and facilitates tissue incorporation through the mesh. The landmarks on the ePTFE side allow correct centering of the mesh over the defect.
