Intended purpose

Used to cover wound typically made of a hydrofibre and in a flat sheet form that produces a water-absorbing gel upon contact with wound exudate. It helps to promote wound healing by absorbing exudate in wounds with moderate to large amounts of exudate for minimal wound maceration, allowing wound debridement, and creating an optimal moist environment which facilitates device removal.
