Intended purpose

Alginate dressing is indicated for the moderate to heavily exuding wounds, such as diabetic foot ulcer, pressure ulcer, leg ulcer, donor sites, first and second degree burns, post-operative wounds and traumatic wounds, helps control minor bleeding, absorbs large amount exudates, provides a moist environment for wound bed and facilitates healing process.
