Exudate-absorbent dressing, hydrophilic-gel

Intended purpose

A wound covering made of a hydrocolloid, hydrofibre or alginate that produces a water-absorbent gel when in contact with exudate. It absorbs exudate. It is for single use and does not contain an antimicrobial agent. By absorbing exudate, it assists in wound healing. It is for use on skin abrasions, small wounds, minor cuts and scratches.
