Intended purpose

The disposable heat and moisture exchange anaesthetic filter is used in surgical procedures. It is connected in line to provide viral and bacterial protection to the patient. The heat moisture exchange media protects the electrostatic filter from moisture and provides a mechanism for returning warm moist air back to the patient.
