Intended purpose

A sterile, single-use epidural filter intended for use in neuraxial administration systems. The device incorporates a microbial-retentive membrane and connectors to facilitate the filtration of fluids administered via epidural and other neuraxial routes. The filter is designed to reduce the passage of particulate matter and microorganisms into the neuraxial system while helping to prevent misconnections with non-neuraxial devices.
