Genesys PressFT - Fixation anchor, soft-tissue, biodegradable

Intended purpose

A biodegradable suture anchor intended to reattach soft tissue such as ligaments, tendons or joint capsules to bone in arthroscopic or open surgical procedures. Additional indications include acetabular labral repair and capsular repair in the hip.

Functional description

The ConMed Linvatec Genesys PressFT (biocomposite) suture anchors are manufactured from polylactide copolymer (96L/4D PLA co-polymer) and beta tricalcium phosphate, and are provided sterile, preloaded on a single-use driver and pre-threaded with either one or two Hi-Fi sutures.
