Intended purpose

The Gryphon BR Anchor with Proknot Technology is intended for: • Shoulder: Bankart Repair, SLAP Lesion Repair, Capsular Shift or Capsulolabral Reconstruction • Hip: Capsular Repair, Acetabular Labral Repair.

Functional description

The GRYPHON BR Anchor with PROKNOT Technology consists of an absorbable TCP/PLGA copolymer anchor pre-loaded with a non-absorbable polyethylene suture on a disposable inserter assembly. The suture consists of a doubled-over strand of #1 Permacord suture with a pre-tied sliding knot; the end of one tail is encased inside the end of the other tail.
