Intended purpose

The Knotted UHMWPE Suture PLDLA+β-TCP Screw Anchor is intended for surgical procedures for soft tissue fixation to bone.

Functional description

The biodegradable screw anchor is a knotted suture anchor in which a constant torque is applied by using the anchor dispenser driver. The screw (threaded) design in the anchor reduces the rotational force required during the screwing into the bone.
