Intended purpose
The Nexa guide wires are made of stainless steel and are of different lengths depending on the application. They are used to guide a cannulated drill or reamer in preparing the surgical site before implantation of a screw or other fixation device. These wires may also be used for fixation & implanted in the patient at the discretion of the surgeon.
