Intended purpose

This is a hand-held device that is intended to be used as a depth gauges and direction indicators for checking drilling or osteotomy depth as part of the surgical protocol for implant placements in the mouth during dental treatment. This device makes it possible to explore the floor of the osteotomy in a atraumatic manner in post-extraction situations. Grooves correspond to the gingival heights of the implant.
