Intended purpose

The Leonardo® Duster ScopeSafe Fibers are optic fibers for lithotripsy and soft tissue treatment in urology. The fibers deliver laser light from a source device to the intended tissue to perform incision, excision, resection, vaporization, ablation, hemostasis or coagulation at the application site during surgical (endoscopic/laparoscopic) procedures and for fragmentation, dusting and other laser lithotripsy treatment methods.
