Intended purpose

Dermadine Plus incise drapes are intended to protect the skin in surgical procedures, acting as a mechanical barrier which prevents the transfer of microorganisms before incision. In the Dermadine Plus Medical Device, the antiseptic ancillary action of iodine, supports the disinfection and barrier activity exerted by the drape during the intervention.

Functional description

DERMADINE PLUS is an adhesive, sterile surgical incise drape with an iodine-based antimicrobial agent. The device consists of a thin polyurethane plastic resin rendered adhesive with certified hypoallergenic acrylic adhesives, containing an iodine solution for specific antimicrobial action on the microenvironment adjacent to the surgical incision area. The drape is removed from its sterile barrier system and is applied to the patient's skin in the relevant area prior to incision.
