Intended purpose

Low Dead Volume(LDV) Safety Needle with Low Dead Volume Syringe device is intended for the use in aspiration and injection of fluids for medical purposes. Additionally, after withdrawal of the needle from the body, the attached needle safety shield can be manually activated to cover the needle immediately after use to minimize risk of accidental needle stick. The plunger structure of LDV syringe allows maximizing efficiency when injecting the solution, and can insert into the neck of the barrel to expel more fluid from the syringe. By reducing the length of the LDV needle hub, the dead space for solutions is reduced.
