Intended purpose
Intergard Knitted Ultra Thin Radially Supported vascular grafts are indicated for surgical repair, bypass or replacement of arteries in the treatment of aneurysmal and occlusive disease of the abdominal aorta, visceral arteries, and peripheral arteries.
Functional description
Intergard Knitted vascular grafts are made of knitted polyester and are coated with a highly purified form of cross-linked bovine collagen to minimise intraoperative bleeding and eliminate the need for preclotting at the time of implant. The Intergard RS knitted grafts have a polypropylene supportive coil to resist kinking and compression. The Intergard knitted grafts have a water permeability specification of 5ml.cm2.min-1@120mmHg.
