Intended purpose

The Zenith AAA Ancillary Graft Main Body Extension with the Z-Trak Introduction System is indicated for use with the Zenith AAA graft during either a primary or a secondary procedure in patients who have adequate iliac/femoral access compatible with the required introduction systems.

Functional description

The Zenith AAA Z-Trak Ancillary Main Body Extension is a woven polyester graft supported by stainless steel Z-stents. Each graft is loaded into a hydrophilic sheath and secured onto the delivery sytem with trigger wires until released by the physician. It is introduced percutaneously, and deployment of the main body extension is achieved by sheath retraction and trigger-wire removal.
