Intended purpose

Device used for the preparation of autologous platelet-rich plasma from venous blood combined with hyaluronic acid for intra-articular use to treat pain associated with osteoarthritis of the knee.

Functional description

The A-CP-HA Kit is composed of sterile and non-pyrogenic tubes intended to prepare autologous Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) combined with Hyaluronic Acid (HA). The A-CP-HA tube contains: a hyaluronic acid gel, a separator gel and a liquid anticoagulant. The A-CP-HA tube allows the preparation of about 5 ml of PRP/HA mix (about 3 ml of PRP combined with 2 ml of HA).
