Intended purpose

The Nucleus Smart App is intended to be used as an accessory to other devices of a hearing implant system to monitor the performance of the system and to make adjustments to the processing unit.

Functional description

The Nucleus Smart App operates on a compatible mobile device. It wirelessly connects the mobile device to a compatible cochlear implant system sound processor, allowing certain parameters of the system to be monitored or updated via the mobile device interface.
