HearCare MED-EL - Hearing aid fitting/programming application software

Intended purpose

A mobile application that can perform technical checks on compatible MED-EL cochlear implants and audio processors, as well as install audio processor configurations, and create and install configuration backups.

Functional description

HearCare MED-EL is a mobile application that can be downloaded from an app store (e.g., Google Play or Apple App Store) and is generally used like any other app. HearCare MED-EL is used to check MED-EL devices, send audio processor data to or receive audio processor updates from a hearing professional. HearCare MED-EL is used for either one or both of the user's audio processors or as a parent or caregiver supporting an audio processor user.
