LIAISON XL Murex HBsAg - Hepatitis B virus surface antigen IVD, kit, chemiluminescent immunoassay

Intended purpose

The assay is intended as an aid in the diagnosis of HBV infection in individuals with or without symptoms of hepatitis. It is also intended as a screening test for blood and hemocomponents donors as well as for living organ and tissue donors. The test has to be performed on the LIAISON XL Analyzer and LIAISON XS Analyzers only.

Functional description

The LIAISON XL Murex HBsAg assay uses chemiluminescent immunoassay (CLIA) technology for the qualitative determination of Hepatitis B surface Antigen (HBsAg) in human serum and plasma samples.
