Intended purpose

Intended for replacement of the shoulder joint to reduce pain and improve shoulder mobility in comparison with preoperative status.

Functional description

The device forms the articular head component of a total or partial replacement of the glenohumeral articulation. It is used in conjunction with a stem and an optional glenoid component. The heads are available in a number of sizes corresponding to the anatomical variations encountered in practice. An eccentric dial system allows reproduction of the combined offset of the articular surface, medial and posterior offsets. The device is made from titanium alloy (Ti6A14V).
