Humidifier, heated

Intended purpose

To be used as a humidification chamber to be placed in the patient's inspiratory line (typically leading from the outlet of a critical care ventilator) and connected to a heated humidifier unit (not included) to increase the humidity and temperature of the gas flow into the lungs by providing in-line heated water vapour. This device is used when the natural humidification process is bypassed by the physician during intubation.
