Intended purpose

The device is designed to warm and humidify respiratory gases delivered to patients who require mechanical ventilation or positive pressure breathing assistance via an endotracheal tube or face mask. It can be operated with or without a heated wire breathing circuit, and is suitable for adult care applications, and not intended for paediatric or neonatal patients.
