Patient Programmer Recharger – R801 - Implant battery charger

Intended purpose

The patient programmer recharger model R801 is one of the external devices of the PINS deep brain stimulation system. The PINS recharger is for use to recharge the battery in the deep brain stimulation implantable pulse generator model G102R.

Functional description

The model R801 consits of three components: a charge controller, a charge coil and a power adaptor. the charge controller and charge coil are permanently connected, while the power adapter can be unplugged from the charge controller. The charge coil is used for wireless charging of the implanted pulse generator via inductive links.
